Be The Backbone Of Game Night
Gem City Social Sports is looking for reliable, energetic Game Officials to join our team. We run recreational leagues for adults, including kickball, softball, soccer, tee ball, pickleball, and cornhole.
Our games are meant to be chill and fun, but it is your responsibility to maintain that environment, enforce the rules accurately, and ensure the games run smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
- Officiate games for various sports, with the ability to indicate your preferred sports.
- Enforce league rules fairly and consistently.
- Control the field or court and manage game flow to ensure a great player experience.
- Maintain a positive, safe, and engaging environment for all participants.
- Set up and tear down game equipment provided by Gem City Social Sports.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Strong understanding of how recreational leagues and specific sports are run.
- Ability to confidently control a game and manage adult players.
- Reliable transportation to get to and from various game locations.
- Bonus: Previous experience officiating recreational leagues or relevant certifications.
