TERMS OF SERVICE

Gem City Social Sports is first and foremost about community and fun. We expect all players to adhere to a high standard of sportsmanship.

• Respect: Treat teammates, opponents, referees, and facility staff with respect at all times.
• Zero Tolerance: We have a zero-tolerance policy for fighting, physical aggression, or abusive language. Any player violating this will be immediately ejected and banned without refund.
• Referees: Our refs are there to facilitate the game. Their calls are final. Arguing with officials merely delays the fun for everyone.

Participation in sports involves inherent risks of injury. By registering and playing:

• You voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation.
• You waive and release Gem City Social Sports, its organizers, venues, and sponsors from any claims or liabilities for injuries or damages that may occur.
• You certify that you are physically fit to participate in the activities you have chosen.

We plan our seasons and commit to venue costs based on registrations. Therefore:

• Full Refunds: Available only if requested at least 14 days prior to the season start date.
• Credit Only: Requests made within 14 days of the start date may be eligible for a league credit at our discretion.
• No Refunds: Once the season schedule is posted or the season begins, no refunds or credits will be issued.
• Ejections: Players removed from the league for violating the Code of Conduct are not eligible for a refund.

Many of our leagues are social and involve post-game celebrations, but safety is paramount.

• BYOB: Specific rules regarding alcohol vary by venue. You must adhere to the specific alcohol policy of the facility where you are playing.
• Intoxication: Players deemed too intoxicated to play safely by a referee or staff member will be asked to sit out.
• Illegal Substances: Use of illegal drugs at any of our events is strictly prohibited.

We love showing off how much fun our leagues are! By participating, you grant Gem City Social Sports the right to use any photographs or video taken during events for promotional purposes on our website and social media.
