About The Role

Be The Energy Behind The Camera

Are you the life of the party? Do you love meeting new people, keeping up with the latest TikTok trends, and capturing amazing moments on camera? Gem City Social Sports is looking for a highly social, energetic, and creative coordinator to join our team.

In this role, you are not just behind the camera. You are the face of our leagues. You will interact with players, learn their names, hype them up, and get them involved in the Gem City social media vision.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the ultimate host for the evening by greeting players, helping teams find locations, and making sure everyone is having a great time.
  • Capture high-quality gameplay footage, photos, and behind-the-scenes moments that show the fun at Gem City Social Sports.
  • Conceptualize, direct, and feature in trendy TikToks, Reels, and short-form videos with our players.
  • Visit active league locations to maximize coverage and player interaction.
  • Set up, operate, and manage company-provided equipment, including cameras, microphones, memory cards, and lighting.
  • Assist with passing out league shirts and answering basic player questions.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Outgoing, approachable, and comfortable walking up to strangers to get them involved in photos and videos.
  • Strong knowledge of current TikTok and Instagram Reels trends and how to apply them to recreational sports.
  • Basic knowledge of shooting video and photos. Gem City provides the gear.
  • Dependable and organized enough to manage multiple SD cards, expensive equipment, and a schedule of multiple locations per night.
