Before you register
When and where do we play?
Wed - Co-ed T-Ball - Fall 26: Sep 23, 2026–Nov 11, 2026. Wednesday, 6:30 PM–9 PM Eastern. Kettering Fields, 444 N Bend Blvd, Dayton, OH 45404. $60 individual / $700 team, plus 3% processing. No makeup dates specified.
Do I need a team?
No. Players aged 21+ can register as free agents, join or create a small group, captain a full team, or join a captain's team. Adult co-ed T-ball uses padded balls and GCSS-provided bats; no gloves are needed. Roster limits and gender-aware capacity are enforced during registration.
When can I register?
Registration opens Jun 24, 2026 at midnight Eastern. All normal paths close Sep 22, 2026 at 6:30 PM Eastern, subject to available spots. After that, eligible late free agents may join during the eight-day window only when verified admin-built roster seats remain. Waitlists are not guaranteed placement.
How do captain payments work?
A captain pays the $700 full-team fee plus processing. Players joining that captain's team do not pay a second individual league fee. Optional shirt charges are separate unless covered by the captain's shirt bundle.
Are shirts included?
Shirts are optional: $10 per player or $100 for the captain bundle, plus processing. Orders close Sep 16, 2026 at the end of the Eastern calendar day.
What happens if it rains?
No makeup dates have been specified for this league. Check League Hub for weather announcements and any confirmed schedule changes before heading to the field.
Do I need to bring a glove or bat?
No. Adult T-ball uses a padded ball, with all bats provided by GCSS. Players cannot bring their own bats and do not need gloves.
What are the t-ball gender requirements?
A team fielding 10 players must include at least 3 female players. Teams may play with 9 players if they have at least 2 female players on the field. These on-field minimums are separate from registration roster-capacity targets.
What are the t-ball home-plate and commit-line rules?
Home plate is a dead, open collision-buffer zone. Runners score by touching the runner zone; a defensive player makes the force out by possessing the ball in the catcher zone before the runner arrives. No tags at home. Crossing the halfway commit line requires continuing toward home, except the caught-fly-ball return-to-base exception. Read the full rules before playing.
Big swings. Good company.
